Nancy M. Williams is a motivational speaker on “Claiming Your Passion,” an amateur concert pianist who performs despite hearing loss, and an award-winning creative nonfiction writer.
Nancy is Founder and President of Auditory Insight™, a management consultancy to the hearing healthcare industry. The firm provides strategy and marketing consulting to the full gamut of companies seeking to solve hearing loss, from hearables, hearing aid and cochlear implant companies, to payers and retailers, to private equity investors.
As a hearing healthcare advocate, Nancy has addressed thousands on living, working, and making music with hearing loss. Her published articles are widely read by consumers and hearing healthcare executives alike. She has served on the board of the Hearing Health Foundation, chairing the marketing committee, from 2011 through 2015.
Nancy also publishes award-winning creative nonfiction. The Chattahoochee Review awarded her the 2009 Lamar York Nonfiction Prize for her piece, “Deserting the Piano.” She serves as the publisher and founding editor of Grand Piano Passion™, an online magazine celebrating adults who study the piano and musicians with hearing loss.
An ardent pianist, Nancy often performs the piano when she speaks at conferences and conventions. A Sing for Hope Volunteer Artist, she also plays in retirement homes, veterans hospitals, and AIDS hospices. She debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2012 in a masterclass recital, while wearing her hearing aids for her moderate-to-severe hearing loss.
Nancy is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Stanford University, both with distinction.
